POWERS.
Cyrokinesis (The power to manipulate ice to his liking. His power differs from the standard cyrokinetics, as he doesn't blow ice from his mouth or hands. He conjures ice by focusing strongly on something, where he can create a blast of ice with a thought of his mind, however he isn't powerful enough yet to be able to propell it towards a target. He is able to freeze objects either through contact or by focusing, and can freeze up someone from the inside through physical contact, which would be like a massive surge of brain freeze throughout their body, creating shock which could eventually kill them).
Amplication (The power to amplify the power of his own or another. However he isn't powerful enough to amplify his own power as it uses too much energy. He managed to amplify his power on one occasion, leading to him passing out unconscious).
OCCUPATION. Bartender at Max's Nightclub (just recently applied/got a posistion).
POSITIVE TRAITS.
- Honesty. Axel isn't afraid of speaking his mind, and will most likely find every opportunity to do so. Regardless of whether it relates to positive or negative comments, he will speak them. He is more inclined to do so when involved with someone he is comfortable with, however, hinting that when he is closer with someone he isn't as stand-offish.
- Athletically Fit. Axel has taken part in sports and other extra-curricular physical activities for the majority of his life, therefore he has managed to keep his body in peak condition. He doesn't lose breath as easily as those who aren't as athletic as he is. Being this way grants him improved speed, strength and durability, however not exceeding that of any reasonable human.
- Fearless. Axel generally doesn't have any fears. This doesn't entirely mean he is a real 'tough guy', it just means he appears to have a rather adventurous personality where he doesn't fear many consequences or risks. He only lives once, so why fear any consequences?
- Intellect. Although he doesn't seem like the type, Axel is extremely intelligent and doesn't have as much difficulty as others in picking new skills or knowledge up quickly. He has been told he is way ahead of his peers, hence transferring to the Los Angeles campus university.
- Charmer. Being so outgoing, Axel has a way for words and seems to know the right things to say to the right people. He knows how to suck up to peope or make them enjoy his company very well. The girls love the small talk, after all.
NEGATIVE TRAITS.
- Overconfidence. Because Axel seems to think he has everything going for him and the fact that he is rather fearless, he lets it go to his head a lot of the time. He is mostly reasonable, but the cocky side of him does show, mainly as a sign of strength so that he doesn't show any weaknesses. However by acting so confident, he can pass judgement on many things and underestimate many situations he becomes involved in.
- Reckless. Axel is an adventurous and 'daredevil' personality, which is bound to get him into a lot of trouble at one point or another. He commonly jumps into something without thinking or planning it out just because he can. He is prone to make mistakes because he thinks with his heart or 'lower region' rather than with his head.
- Committment-Phobe. In essence, Axel cannot handle committing to something or someone, it is probably one of the only things he does fear and try to avoid. He could be in a happy relationship with someone, but back out at the last minute because he feels things are going too fast too soon. He therefore finds it rather difficult to committ to his chosen destiny as he wants to live and enjoy life, not be burdened by a task he doesn't want to perform.
- Romance. He really isn't good at it, and really doesn't see the whole big 'turnon' about a guy who is romantic and goes all out for somewone. He just does what he feels sounds good at the time, and hopes that they enjoy it. He doesn't try to be one of those guys who acts all romantic to get in their pants, when it doesn't last for the entire relationship. Its just a blanket to get close to them, which soon fades away not long after they committ. He would rather be himself and be liked for that, than trying too hard.
- Girls. They make him think below the belt rather than practically, which can get him into some trouble. He also doesn't know how to talk with girls as a friend, only knowing really how to flirt with them and act like a cool guy. He lacks the ability to engage in deep conversation with them, because he really doesn't know what to say to them. Its not like he can talk about guy things with them like he does to his guy friends.

HISTORY.
Axel was born to Amelia and Henry Edwards, his mother a witch and his father a human. His father was aware of her status, and that their son would in time more than likely develop magical powers as inherited by his mother, but accepted it through love to his mother. However they begun having their fair share of problems as he grew up, mainly stemming from the supernatural affairs occuring. His mother was a witch, therefore at times would battle against forces of evil, which worried Henry because she was putting herself and her son in danger. Henry begun taking up drinking more frequently, and on one night a huge fight broke out, leading Henry to drink drive, causing him to run into a tree and kill himself. Due to the explosion of the engine from the force of the tree, by the time they reached the scene, there wasn't much left to see.
Axel's mother took this hard, being left to look after a four year old boy. She was a nurse at the hospital, managing work and looking after Axel, luckily though his father was hig hup in the business sector, therefore left a hefty inheritance for them. However his mother was broken, blaming herself for what happened as Axel grew up. She enrolled Axel in gymnastics when he was seven as a hobby outside of school, mainly so that she had the place to herself because she felt so much guilt. He enjoyed the classes after a while, getting better at them. As he grew up he took up taekwondo and kick boxing, the later mainly for the bottled up anger of not having a father figure and always seeing his mother so down.
His mother died when he was only fifteen, leaving him alone with his aunt and uncle. He got into the wrong crowd in his teens, sneaking out late at night and drinking with the stolen alcohol from his mate's father's bottleshop. He was eventually caught and punished, but it didn't do anything for him, he had no parents anymore. His grades in school had begun to drop, and he found himself falling apart from the friends he was close with.
One night when he went out to a party he got into a drunken fight with another guy, leading Axel to trip into a nearby lake. He wasn't exactly the best at swimming in deep water, and after panicking, he noticed the water above him freeze up to solid ice. He tried breaking through it, but no luck. He passed out soon after, only awaking to find that he was at home, okay. He was confused, remembering the ice freezing above him, but not much else. After coming home one night, he found his aunt and uncle dead. He was in total shock, calling for help instantly. They were murdered, brutally too. No one could find the culprits or the cause or reasoning of the events. Since he was technically next of kin, he had inherited the home, where he ended up finding a letter from his mother which explained that evil beings had murdered his father and that the car crash was a cover up story. His whole world had shifted upside down, as he realized that his mother, and he for that matter, weren't exactly normal.
He picked up on schooling near the end just to secure a place in uni studying art, and applied for a bartending job just to keep himself occupied and out of trouble. - Sketching. Give Axel something to draw, and he would be able to mimic it almost flawlessly to every fine detail. His attention to detail is amazing, and is a very useful skill of his.
- Martial Arts. Although he displays the pretty boy persona, he could probably beat you up. He has taken up kick boxing and taekwondo, as well as gymnastics throughout his young life, therefore knows how to defend himself.
