HISTORY.
Born in Oklahoma, Corrine never spent too much time in one place as a kid. She was dragged back and forth across the country by her mother thanks to heart break after heart break. It wasn't until she was nine that she got a stable lifestyle. She was sent to live with her father im New York City. It was there that she first discovered what she wanted to do with her life. Corrine couldn't explain it but for some reason being a firefighter seemed oh so glamorous to a twelve year old. For the next few years she didn't talk about anything else. Much to her dismay that wasn't enough for her father and so after high school she was sent to college.
University wasn't exactly what Corrine had in mind but she did what was expected and graduated with a degree in English. During her junior year she met Marshall Keegan a Pre-Law student. The pair of them hit it off and moved in together after they graduated. Corrine went on to start firefighter training while Marshall went to Law school. On their fourth anniversary Marshall proposed and Corrine said yes. All of this happened days before September 11.
On that tragic and fateful day Corrine was off duty. Hearing about the plane crash she rushed to the fire station grabbing all of her things. Showing up on the scene Corrine was directed to help in any way she could manage. She did everything she could trying to manage her way through the wreckage and pull people out, that was when she heard the child crying. Corrine searched and searched through the wreckage trying to find the child. After what seemed like an eternity in the smoke and debris she managed to find the little boy. She grabbed hold of him fighting her way back beyond the chaos. The little boy made it out but Corrine got caught when the second building fell. Rescue teams searched for days and days but out of all the survivors Corrine was not one of them.
Being dead was no easy task and accepting that she was a Whitelighter wasn't either. Especially once she found out that she was supposed to be responsible for someone elses life. For the last ten years Corrine has tried her hardest not to screw up and remember why she wanted to help people in the first place. It all seemed easy enough until the Charmed ones were killed and a new family took the on the Power of Three.
