HISTORY.
Alistair was born to two low level demons, who were vanquished by witches ten years after having Alistair. Alistair never possessed any strong powers like the upper-level demons, he had the usual fireballs and shimmering. He decided it was best for him to stay in the underworld for as long as he could, he feared being vanquished, and he wanted to prepare himself because he knew one day, he would be all powerful.
As time went on, more and more demons Alistair knew were being vanquished by the Charmed Ones, one by one they all just died. He vow that one day he would avenge all the demons that had died, he would kill the Charmed Ones, even if it meant he would die. At age 15, he spent 15 years planning, and planning the death of the Charmed Ones, he had this very elaborate plan, but when the time actually came he decided to wing it. He shimmered into the Halliwell Manor and swiftly vanquished Phoebe with an energyball, Then he murdered Piper the same way. He watched as Paige orbed out, he quickly shimmered to her location and took her out by engulfing her in flames. The Charmed Ones are dead, and he was the one to kill them.
Returning to the underworld, everyone knew what had happened. They celebrated, rejoiced and decided Alistair must be the source. They presented him with the Grimiore and he read the spell, it was finally happening, he would be the source of all evil! Little did he know, was that the power of three was actually being reconstituted by another line of witches. He didn't want to worry about them now, they were fairly knew to the whole witch thing, and he would be able to kill them easily, this time disposing of any other family member they had, ending all these powerful line of witches.
After becoming the Source of all Evil, he became an upper level demon and has earned many more powers. He currently resides in the underworld, and plans to take out the new charmed ones soon.
